Big ideas, told with heart.

Books about rockets, faraway places, real people, nature, big feelings and the great old stories. Kids learn something. Grown-ups do too.

What we make books about

How a book gets made

You decide twice: once with a heart, once with a purchase.

  1. 1

    Idea

We share a cover, a short pitch and a few sample pages. Give it a heart if you'd want it on your shelf. A heart is free: no account, no payment.

  2. 2

    Draft Edition

Ideas that reach their goal become a complete Draft Edition. We make it with AI tools, then a person rewrites and edits every page, checks every fact and reviews every picture before it's posted. It's clearly labeled, priced low, and yours to keep.

  3. 3

    Studio

When a Draft Edition reaches its sales goal, a human illustrator draws every page from scratch and we rewrite the story with your notes. Everyone who bought the Draft Edition gets the illustrated edition free.

  4. 4

    On shelves

The illustrated edition is printed and for sale. Founding Readers who helped are thanked by name in the back of the book (with their permission).

How we use AI

Buy the draft, get the real thing free.

Every Draft Edition comes with a promise. If the book reaches its goal, a human illustrator makes it for real, and everyone who bought the draft gets the illustrated edition free, in the same format they bought. Early readers never pay twice.

For kids

  • A story they'll ask for again.
  • Real science and real history, told simply.
  • Big feelings, named and worked through.

For grown-ups

  • A "Huh!" fact in every book, just for you.
  • Three questions to talk about afterward.
  • Facts checked by a person in every edition, draft or final.

Help decide what we make

Founding Readers hear about new ideas first, help decide what gets made, and get their family name printed in the thank-you pages of the books they help make real.
